Workday Functional Expert Adyen is looking for a Workday Functional expert who will be responsible for automating operational accounting processes with the Group Finance team. This includes business process implementation, reporting, dashboards, and managing the intersection between Workday and other applications such as Vendor Management tool (Coupa) or our internal Billing engine; particularly in the Finance ERP system Workday.

What You’ll DoYou will be responsible for preparation and optimisation of our internal finance processes.

• Preparation, and optimisation of our internal finance processes.
• Proactively improve existing internal processes and develop solutions together with various teams, such as Controlling & Accounting, Product, Payroll, Reporting, Human Resources and Treasury;
• Analyze operational bottlenecks and automate controls;
• Collaborate and align regional and global requirements;
• Support and maintain Workday (and other applications) for finance globally;
• Work closely with all of our Finance, HR, Payroll and procurement teams globally to gain a deep understanding of our finance processes;
• Support and challenge the finance team and the Workday Integration Specialists.

Who You AreWorkday Functional Specialist with experience in ERP such as Workday. As important is your passion for supporting people and optimizing our system processes and that you are comfortable to challenge and be challenged.

• 5+ year’s professional experience in Workday functional role and reporting expertise (preferably Workday Financials);
• An understanding of Finance and/or Accounting, either from your own experience of working in this function, or from collaborating closely with Finance teams;
• You can communicate clearly and are able to present information to a non-technical audience;
• You work independently, delivering projects, driving forward standard methodologies;
• You understand architecture principles, data models, functional interactions, privacy regulations and security and recognize and understand impact of changes, also to other systems downstream;
• You are hands-on and pragmatic, using technologies to bring automation ideas to life;
• You are innovative, have strong problem-solving capabilities and have the initiative to drive change with others while keeping in mind downstream dependencies;
• You are detail-oriented and ensure the integrity of your changes;
• You have experience with stakeholder management;
• Experience with procurement applications such as Coupa is a plus.
