Anna Marie Siemer passed peacefully surrounded by family on June 28, 2024. Affectionately known as "Ria," she was born in Hartford, Connecticut on March 5, 1952, to Bartolo Miceli and Jenny Fabrycki.

Ria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She married her soulmate, John, on April 12, 1984. They spent 40 wonderful years together and successfully raised two children. Together, they loved to travel to St Maarten, cruise the Caribbean, play golf, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy their much-deserved retirement.

Prior to retirement, Ria spent her professional years as an analyst and programmer at Aetna Life and Casualty, and The Life and Annuity Group. She was an expert in her field, and her knowledge and experience transcended generations. Ria remained a highly sought-after consultant long after she retired.

Ria and John retired in 2010 and built their home in The Villages, Florida. Ria was a natural athlete and ferocious competitor - especially in golf and board games. She loved the Red Sox, the Patriots (especially her "boyfriend" Tommy), and playing in the women's golf league where she had two holes in one. She was a voracious reader who loved a good murder/mystery. She enjoyed Jazzercise, solving word/number puzzles, dining out at her favorite restaurant, Red Sauce, and cooking her famous Sunday meat sauce. She fully embraced life which was no surprise, as Ria was always active and engaged.

Ria is survived by her husband, John, their two children, Donna Bibisi and Frank DuVerger III, and four grandchildren.
