His first big break
Michael resumed his acting career when his tour of duty was over. He was privileged to appear on Billy Crystal’s first cable television special in 1979 and this gave Richards his first big break that would give him the exposure to the American audience that he needed.
In 1989, a decade later he got his next big break in 1989 when he was cast in the role as Cosmo Kramer on “Seinfeld.” This would become the role that he received the most attention from in his acting career.
