Kane County Animal Control
Kane County Animal Control oversees rabies registration, protects public safety and ensures the humane care of animals through sheltering, pet placement, education and animal law enforcement. Animals are brought to this facility both as strays and owner surrenders. All animals go through a stray holding period after which they are medically and behaviorally assessed. All animals that go onto our adoption floor are up to date on their vaccines, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs are Heart-worm tested and cats are tested for FIV/FeLV.
